Kings 1, Sens 0: Um...Yeah. About All That Stuff I Said

See, here's the thing. I forgot the wee fact that we have no talent.

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

See you tomorrow.

Sower grapes!

Man, it's tough to be a goalie when your team cannot score.

#21 I know he is on for 11 of the last 14 first goals but what really heats me up is both of the Sens first two penalties are make up calls for flagrant fouls. The first one; rap the guy up so bad you have to drop your stick-- Lee gets the make up call immediately. The second is the classic forarm shiver with the free hand to the throat-- Vermette picks up the fantome call. What gives? Why don't the Refs call him? This is more than the "Veteran's Pass"

Finally pass completions?? When you can't shovel it 12ft with out putting it in your partners skates. Give me a break, this is supposed to be the "Show!"

Cory... This is supposed to be freshh eyes looking at everyone... on an equal basis. Don't you be letting us down son.

At least, in my opinion, they looked like a team for a change. They were (almost) all on board for helping each other defensively, showing decent puck support, and they played most of the 60 minutes the right way.

Listening to the 1st period call from Dean least night, I started thinking of Bell as a coke addict with diarrhea: Bell, can't hold the line. Bell, can't hold it in. Bell, loses the line.
X.

Exx: Bell's stuggles may not be as one sided as you might think!

(1) Fact. Bell is the only Sens "D" who can cary #21.

(2) Dean and I'm surprised Galley don't pick up on the fact that Bell is the "Offencive D" with Jason as your fall back man. You better gamble up, often and with total abandonment because this pairing has no tollerance for error.

(3)Twice last night, needlessly (no pressure on #21), Brendan recieved the puck in his skates at great speed. Now, we have a problem (Clouston) the big, quick, tough LA forwards see this and are on you like Billy Clement's Hyenas.

(4) Looks can be deceiving! If you cannot win the opener for your new coach at home against the LA Kings... Man this is getting hard to watch! (I'm a day 1, never missed a game fan!)
